With a long, strong background in both teaching and interior design, Andy Capelluto acknowledges that she was born with a 'good eye.' Her passion to decorate homes began in her childhood and her natural flair has won her numerous awards. With her high energy and creative spirit, she traveled the world for 17 years in her own successful business sourcing, designing and buying furniture and decorative accessories.
As a 'trade only' supplier to designers and decorators, her pieces grace many of the top hotels and residences around the world. Her magnificent showrooms were renowned both in South Africa and at the Seattle Design Center - and so with an exciting inventory on hand, she was lured into staging by a friend who was a real estate agent. A staging business was born!
After speaking at the John L Scott Real Estate Convention in 2004 - she wrote her first staging course for continuing education in Washington State. Her skills as a teacher paid off as Andy became a certified instructor, and opened a Staging School certified by the Department of Licensing. She has spent the last four years teaching continuing education classes to real estate agents. Her enthusiasm as a staging teacher is palpable and she inspires and empowers everyone who participates in the well structured and highly informative class.
